Baking oatmeal chocolate chip sea salt cookies

Today we got all the kids involved in baking cookies. I usually like to bake/cook with the children at least once a week because it encourages teamwork, teaches children about the science of food and its fun for them.

The little ones enjoyed getting their spoons and mixing in their own bowls while the older kids helped to measure, pour and mix the batter.

We shaped the cookies and then they we ready to go in to oven. Some even watched as they cooked.

I find a lot of my recipes for the kids on Weelicious.com and here’s a link for the recipe I used for these cookies. They were soooo good and the kids ate them all up.
