Building a snowman

Finally we got some snow to build a snowman this year. It hasn’t even felt like winter here in Canada.

All the kids were excited to get started after we red this story.

Then we got all dressed up and went out into the backyard. I showed the bigger kids how to roll a snowball while the younger ones helped pack the big snowballs with fresh snow.

Then I stacked all three balls and we dressed him.

“Snowman” was definitely the word of the day! And when we went inside, the kids checked on him throughout the day.

All the kids spent a lot of time creating him that it was too bad that the weather was pretty mild the rest of the week and he melted 😦
